Anvil & Forge Advisory is a banking and fintech advisory practice built on 15 years inside banks, VC-backed fintechs and proptechs. The Supernova Moment isn't a concept. It's something we've helped institutions move through.

Anvil & Forge Advisory was built on a simple observation: banking institutions don't need more theory. They need things they can actually use. Our founders have spent years in banks, VC-backed fintechs and proptechs building exactly that: systems that run in production, technology partnerships that survive contract renewals, and strategies that hold up when a bank's compliance team, board, and core vendor all have opinions about them.
When it comes to AI, the work is not theoretical. Our founders have built and deployed AI systems inside regulated financial institutions, more than once, and carried them through compliance review, model risk governance. Those systems are running in production today, with real users and real consequences. Most AI projects in banking never survive that gauntlet. Ours have.
We've sat on the bank side of fintech partnership evaluations. We've been in the room when the bank leadership decides whether novel technology is a threat or an opportunity, and watched that decision get made for the wrong reasons both ways.
That dual-side experience, operator inside a bank and technology strategist facing out, is what Anvil & Forge Advisory is built on. We're not consultants who studied banking. We're operators who decided the most valuable thing we could do was help other institutions do it better.
"Anyone can deploy AI. Very few can make it work."
The thesis that started this practice.Anvil & Forge Advisory exists because most firms in this space do one of three things: sell you software, deliver a report you won't implement, or send a junior associate to run a senior engagement. None of that works inside a bank. What works is a team that understands both the technology and the institution, and can operate inside the actual decision-making process, not around it.
Operators first. Every advisor has carried real decisions inside a bank or a fintech, and the bench is growing.
PRINCIPAL ADVISOR
15 years in banks, VC-backed fintechs and proptechs. Builder of AI systems running in production inside regulated institutions.
Meet Marc →The bench is growing. Our next advisor joins from inside the industry, like everyone here.
We're adding advisors who have operated inside banks and fintechs and want to build something that lasts. If that's you, we should talk.
Start the conversation →The question isn't whether banks will deploy AI. Every bank will deploy something. The question is whether it will be deliberate, auditable, and aligned with how the institution actually works, or whether it'll be a vendor's demo running inside your firewall.
Deploying a model is the easy part. The durable advantage comes from pairing agentic AI with the domain expertise and judgment already inside your institution, the first development in a generation that gives a bank a genuine structural advantage rather than a discount on someone else's.
Agents find and connect data across your systems, no perfect data source required.
Model-agnostic governance over every agent and model, with costs understood before they explode.
Agents and institutional intelligence that meet your team inside the tools they already use.
Every layer in orchestration, directed by the expertise and judgment already inside your institution.
The point at which the risk of not acting exceeds the risk of acting. Every institution reaches it. Most recognize it only in hindsight. It's crossed quietly, while deferring the decision still looks like the safe choice. Banking is at that point now.
Move now and build the advantage, or buy a commoditized version of it from a vendor in three years.
If you're a bank or fintech working through a technology inflection, we'd like to hear about it.
